I've got one very specific talent: I can find the crunchiest bit of any loaf and guard it like it's a national treasure. I love reading weird stuff in the park, saying hi to dogs even if they don't know me, and making croquettes in shapes that look suspiciously unofficial. At home I've got a plant called Paqui and a notebook full of absurd ideas, like starting a fan club for the Spanish omelette sandwich. Catch me on a good day and I'll make you coffee, tell you why I don't trust seagulls, and before long we'll be lovingly arguing over whether naps should be an Olympic sport.
