Counselor of Tiny Silences

In the workshop we say he’s one of those brownies who arrive without a sound, like a nap that sneaks up on you. He’s about 20 cm tall with his hat on, and even so he goes unnoticed, because he has that rare talent of becoming “background” when the world gets too loud.

He wears a blush-pink little jacket that feels like it was stitched out of calm, and a hat in the exact color of the sky when dusk starts thinking. He likes humans who truly listen, not for drama, but for focus, like someone smelling freshly ground coffee and going quiet so the spell doesn’t break.

• He hides near chipped mugs, says advice tastes more honest there.
• He whispers softer when it rains, because rain makes the perfect background music.
• He laughs when someone finally turns off their phone without being scared.

If you notice a sweet little voice that leaves you calm, don’t overthink it: he’s probably there, winking at you from the edge of a shadow.
