When inspiration goes into hiding and everything starts to feel the same, we peek out quietly, with our messy mane of colourful threads and a jacket stitched from scraps of recycled cloth. Our mission says it all: to light Magical Sparks of Creativity right in the middle of everyday life, with no warning at all.
We hide in pencil cases, forgotten drawers, blank notebooks, or workshop corners nobody looks at. We also slip into dim offices and rooms where a little creature stares at the ceiling, not knowing what to play with. There, in the hush, we get to work: we nudge ideas along, mix colours together, and gently turn the rules upside down.
Our magic doesn't shout, it whispers. Sometimes we show up in a scribble that suddenly makes sense, in a sentence that all at once sounds poetic, in a song that starts with an absent-minded hum. We love a lovely mess: stains on the table, scissors left open, piles of paper, and crayons all over the place. That's where new things bloom.
When someone dares to get it wrong with joy, tries something different, creates without judging themselves, we leap to our feet and clap with wild delight. Then we know it: our work is done. The spark is back. We've planted one tiny possibility, and now it will do the rest.
