What it means
A quick way to tell someone to go away, get lost, or stop chatting absolute rubbish. You fire it off when someone’s annoying you, trying to start drama, or pushing their luck. Tone does the work, it can be jokey between mates or properly hostile to a stranger. Either way, it’s a conversation-ender, not a debate invite.
Usage examples
"Bloke in the chippy queue wouldn’t stop banging on about crypto, so I told him, Do one, mate. Our kid was creasing into his curry sauce."
"He kept trying to sell me a dodgy watch, so I told him to do one and walked off."
"Do one, the pair of you, I'm trying to watch the match in peace for once."
