What it means
Means very, lots, or extremely. Cape Town uses it constantly to amplify almost anything. It is the Cape Flats equivalent of saying something is really good or really bad or really anything. Dead simple, instantly understood by anyone who has spent five minutes in the Western Cape. Lank bored, lank nice, lank tired after a lank hectic week.
