What it means
Periodt is an emphatic full stop slapped on the end of a statement to say there is nothing more to add and no room to argue. The extra t just makes the point land that bit harder.

Where it comes from
Periodt comes from period, then got stylised in Black queer speech, especially drag and ballroom spaces in the US, where it became a sharper spoken mic-drop. That extra t gives it extra snap, turning plain sentence-ending energy into something punchier, sassier, and more performative.
