What it means
A quick shout you chuck out when there's a dead match-up in the moment, usually when two people say the same thing at once or turn up in the exact same gear. It also comes straight from the kids' card game Snap, where you yell it the second two cards match. Tiny bit cheesy, still lands, very playground-core.

Where it comes from
It comes from the children's card game Snap, where players shout snap the instant two cards match. That game cry wandered into everyday chat, especially in Britain, and stuck as the go-to little yell for those same-brain or same-outfit moments when everything lines up at once.
