Street voices
"Crashing out. Getting so angry that you'd have to take it out on everything around you, whether it be the people around you, or just breaking everything in your vicinity. Oh yeah, what's up dude? Damn, you look kinda, you look kinda shaken up. Oh yeah, um, yesterday I was at, uh, Jameson's place, and I beat him three times in a row in 2k, and then he proceeded to crash out and destroy his PlayStation. So yeah."
What it means
Means getting so mad, frustrated, or emotionally overloaded that you start wilding out, snapping at people, breaking stuff, or making a whole scene. Online it often gets used for dramatic public meltdowns too, not just literal rage. Proper chaos word. When someone crashes out, their self control has basically left the building in flip flops.
Usage examples
"Bro lost three straight games in 2K, crashed out, spiked his controller, and had everybody in the room staring like damn, it is never that deep."
"He was calm all game until the last-second foul, then he started crashing out, yelling at the screen and tossing the controller onto the couch."
Where it comes from
Borrowed from the image of a system or vehicle crashing, all control gone in an instant. Online it became the word for a full public meltdown, composure spinning off the road.
