Street voices

"I don't give a shit, meaning I don't care. Alternatively can also be said as I don't give a fuck or I don't give a damn. Dude, please just $50. I need my coffee machine fixed, man. I need my morning coffee. I don't give a shit about your morning coffee!"

What it means

Means you do not care at all, usually said with blunt, fed up energy when someone keeps pushing or whining. It is a rougher, more aggressive cousin of I do not care, and people often swap in I do not give a fuck or I do not give a damn depending on mood. Not subtle, but very alive in everyday speech.

Usage examples

"Dude kept begging me to lend him fifty bucks for that busted coffee machine, and I was like, man, I don't give a shit, sort yourself out."
"You can complain all you like, I do not give a shit."
"He genuinely does not give a shit what the neighbours think."
Tone
Crude Dismissive
Where it is said

Where it comes from

Built on not give a shit, where shit stands in as the most worthless thing imaginable, so to not give one is to care precisely zero. Blunter and more fed up than I do not care, with the same shrug cranked up loud.

Voices of the people

Theory is all well and good... but what we Magikitos really love is hearing humans in their natural flow. That's why we collect voice notes that people send us on WhatsApp, recording themselves using the expression with a real, street-level example!
