"Mewing is basically the act of typing your jawline, pressing your lips in a way so your jawline is very prominent and your cheekbones are kind of prominent as well, like you suck in your cheeks to define your cheekbones a bit more so to quote-unquote look more attractive, to mug someone in the future basically so it's just the act of mewing to enhance your jawline in the long run and cheekbones an example would be that bro really thinks mewing for two weeks can change his face structure"
What it means
Pressing your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth, supposedly to sharpen your jawline over time. It blew up online as a free glow-up trick, half fitness tip and half meme, with people silently mewing in photos and refusing to talk so they do not break form.

Where it comes from
Named after John Mew, the orthodontist whose tongue-posture ideas the technique is based on, before it spiralled into an internet jawline craze.
