A jokey label for the bent little logic some men use to sell themselves a daft decision. Stuff like spending way more to save a tiny bit, calling an expensive gadget an investment, or adding a cheeky inch or two to their height. It’s usually said tongue in cheek, not deep or serious.

Where it comes from
It popped up online as a playful counterpart to girl math, which was already doing the rounds on TikTok and other social apps in 2023. People started calling out the equally dodgy logic lads use on money, gadgets, sport, cars, and ego, then the phrase spread fast into everyday banter.
