"Flatlining someone, meaning to knock them out cold. Oh my god dude, did you see Olivera vs Teporia? No, who won? Dude, Teporia flatlined Olivera bro. I'm so heartbroken."

What it means

Means knocking someone out cold, usually in a fight or any brutal one sided hit where the other person just gets switched off. It borrows the image of a flatline on a heart monitor, so the exaggeration is baked in from the start. Very combat sports coded, very online, and absolutely not subtle when you want maximum impact.

Usage examples

"Bro, you missed the main event, Teporia flatlined someone in round one and the whole bar went dead silent for two seconds."
"One clean punch and he was flatlining the other lad before the bell even rang."
"That tackle was brutal, he ended up flatlining the winger right on the touchline."

Voices of the people

Theory is all well and good... but what we Magikitos really love is hearing humans in their natural flow. That's why we collect voice notes that people send us on WhatsApp, recording themselves using the expression with a real, street-level example!
